You don't need to go far.

After the journey, a relaxed dinner and a good conversation might be the perfect way to start the weekend.

☀️ Saturday morning: discover Breda on foot

Take your time over breakfast.

Then head out for a walk.

One of the pleasures of Breda is that its main attractions can easily be explored on foot. The historic Monastery of Sant Salvador, its spectacular Romanesque bell tower, the streets of the old town and the small local shops are all part of a walk you can enjoy without looking at the time.

And keep an eye out for the pottery.

Breda has been closely linked to this craft for centuries, and even today you will find shops and handmade pieces that keep this tradition alive.

Go inside. Browse. Ask questions.

You might end up going home with a traditional pot, a mug or a small piece made right here in Breda.

🍅 Saturday lunchtime: back home

After your walk comes one of our favourite moments.
